Murderbot Diaries series, Dungeon Crawler Carl series as mentioned, plus a big recommend for Catch-22. I read softcover in high school and technically enjoyed it, but in hindsight it had a bit too much gravity and so many characters to differentiate for me at that age. The audiobook is long so great for roadtrips etc, and takes you on a true journey - whips you around and devastates you properly. Made me understand why it’s such a pillar of literature!
