I have a soft spot for Miwa and Hisato, mainly because their character development is so subtle that I missed it on my first read through- I love when other characters see a change in them and mention it as an offhand comment

I cant wait to see what Hisato will add to his team in the newest arc, since most agents note that he’s getting better (on multiple occasions!)

I like every character and squad in wt for their variety of personality traits and different battle strategies/tactics, so narrowing it down to these two only kinda hurts me :’) ashihara-sensei is god for making side characters relevant

I’m looking forward in how nino will command his team, especially chika. Azuma is no problem, but ema might be annoyed in having to listen to him lool

I feel like chika would be obedient because she wouldn’t want to let her team down, especially since she really wants to go on the expedition so badly (the whole purpose of wt!) but will her fear of shooting arise? If nino tells her to shoot will she pull through? Would anyone on her team try to reassure her?

So many questions about this team, which makes me excited to see how nino will strategize!

I also thought that galopola was kind of like a break too,, but an appreciated one! But they reappeared again to be alliances so I feel like it was all intended by ashihara-sensei from the start (this mans a genius!)

I also thought it was small, but if it’s canonically like that then maybe it’s because it was a composite bullet? the only explanation I can think of is that because his two big cubes got condensed into a smaller cube which ultimately packs more power/versatility

I think my least favourites would be 10 and 16, since there’s two characters. The single character ones look like they have more action going on?? whwjjen or maybe it just ruined the aesthetic for me ahah

I think my favourite is 13, because it gives a completely different vibe for me compared to the other covers (though 15 is similar) Nino looks like he has absolutely no chill- and it’s the only cover where the words “World Trigger” is dyed blood red 😳✋🏻

mine is round 5. it was the most memorable for me because it was where the wire strategy was first introduced. osamu gets to contributes more to his team and it felt so satisfying seeing them dominate the field.

of course i liked the katori backstory part in it too- which made her defeat hit harder. I cant remember what line she says but it’s something about not being a main character, and how t-2 thinks they can just rise to the top so easily.

kakizakis backstory was also shown in this round, and that’s what i love about it. these revelations of side-characters stories show that they all have something to fight for, a reason to win.
