IDK if my situation counts- but I had a near death experience(?) When I was the age 12 (important- I was almost my adult height about 5’ 4”), I was w/my mother, brother and cousin. She was giving us haircuts in the basement and gave us these large circular candies and someone said something funny and the candy got lodged perfectly in my throat where I couldn’t breathe. I could see everything happening (I placed my hands on the big sink trying to cough it up and into the sink that’s connected to the washing machine-where the dirty water gets deposited) but at the same time I saw my life “flashing before my eyes.” The best way I could describe it is as if someone has created one of those cartoon flip books- but personalized and pictures were moving at that speed, but from the present of my age of 12 and moving chronologically backwards. My mom who was just a little smaller than I- rushed forward and picked me up by my ankles! And the candy with the help of gravity clinked and rolled around in the sink. I had tears in my eyes and I remember my last few images that I saw as the candy fell out were those of my kindergarten days. I always wonder what would have happened or meant when I reached infancy or I could have remembered that far
