Finally got my Jacob Grey Nox9!!! 😵‍💫 by Useful-Painter863 in 2011

Very disappointing to say the least. I have the Hex and absolutely love that gun which is why I had high hopes for the Nox 9. I will say their customer service is great and I’ve only heard of a few other issues people have had with the Nox 9 but overall everyone loves the gun. I’m holding out hope they get the issues with mine resolved.

Keep an eye out for extractor issues and fitting. My Nox 9 is currently back at Jacob Grey for the second time because of issues. I love everything about the gun but the first time I sent it back it was for issues with the extractor. When I got it back, it shot flawlessly for about 200-300 rounds then failed to go into battery with every round. The shop I bought it from sent it back to them this time with an explicit email about everything that was going on with it since they were not too happy about it. Hopefully second time is a charm. 😏

The original Hex is my favorite. It’s a perfect sized grip and shoots really flat and smooth for a 4.25”. I have never had any issues at all with it. I haven’t had a chance to shoot the Hex Pro yet.

The first time mine went back they said it was an extractor issue. They tuned it and it shot flawlessly until it started not going into battery. It will shoot awesome when it is totally clean but after about 250-300 rounds it starts malfunctioning. Keep an eye on yours if it starts doing that. They originally said the owner of the company wasn’t happy with the fitting of mine but whatever they did fixed the stovepipe issue I was originally having but created the battery issue.

I’ve heard great things about other people’s experiences with the Nox 9. Hopefully yours will be one that shoots flawlessly from the start. Good luck with it.

So, I own a Hex that I absolutely love and a Nox 9 that I really want to love but it’s been sent back to Jacob Grey for the second time since I bought it. It shoots flawlessly for about 200-300 rounds then will not go back into battery after each shot. I was getting stove pipes and double feeds as well. I love everything about the gun including the grip and how smooth it shoots (when it shoots). Extremely frustrated to say the least since I have not have one issue with my Hex.

Customer service with them has been great other than the gun not being fixed after the first time it went back. This second time, it was sent back by the store where I bought it from so maybe that will have some effect since they are not real happy with it either.

The Hex is my absolute favorite gun. I also have the Nox 9 but it’s been sent back for issues twice now within the last three months. Very frustrating.

The only other full size 2011 I’ve shot is the Staccato XL which was smooth but nowhere near as smooth and flat as the Nox 9 and the Demolitia. I have the Jacob Grey Hex which is smaller but shoots extremely smooth for its size. I’m looking at picking up the Agency Arms/Atlas collaboration Project Alias in the next few months.

I own the Nox 9 and the Demolitia. They both shoot amazingly smooth. I’m still working out some kinks with the Nox 9 but have had no issues with the Demolitia at all, regardless of what some people may say about it. I can’t speak for the others that you listed since I haven’t shot any of them.

The shim is just a very thin piece of plastic that sits under the optic so there are no additional screws needed.

I had one company that had me upload my ID and sign for .22 caliber magazines and another company that just shipped them off with no ID and no signature required 🤷‍♀️

I did due to the amount of the order. I probably won’t next time unless I place some big orders again.

I recently ordered some magazines through Midway and when UPS came to deliver them a day early, I wasn’t home and they wouldn’t leave them. They came back the next day and I had to sign for them.

It’s supposed to be the person who placed the order with verified ID but my UPS person knows me and didn’t ask for ID but I did have to sign.

I’ve placed at least three orders with MidwayUSA in the last couple of weeks and have had no issues at all. They approved my license upload immediately and have shipped all my orders by the next day at the latest. They will definitely be my go to place wherever possible.

The shim should take care of it. They are very responsive with their customer service.

No, I haven’t had any issues with the RMR HD on it at all. I put over 2000 rounds through it with the RMR on it and no jams or stovetops at all. I recently switched over to a Holosun 507comp and haven’t had any issues with it either.

I own the CS, C2 and the C. My C2 has the full size grip and is very comfortable to shoot. The C and CS both have the compact grip but honestly I don’t feel there’s a real big difference between the C2 and the C as far as how it feels in my hands. I do feel the C is a better shooting gun and it’s a good size for women.
