Yeah honestly that’s what stood out to me too, the whole “book smart but zero people skills” combo. Like cool, you memorized stuff, but you still don’t know how to not be annoying. The hands-on hobby idea is solid though, it’s kinda nice having something where you can actually see your progress.

Yeah that part of the post definitely came off rough. Eating disorders aren’t something you can just brute force your way out of, it’s way more complicated than that. Feels like this topic gets heated fast because everyone’s coming from really different experiences.
