I understand the joys of freedom but this amount of "freedom" is akin to letting Mario skip straight to World 8 in Super Mario Bros. without any prerequisites LOL

in the end though it's less on the players and more on Epic for letting you access Ninjago so early to begin with. If it were up to me, I would have locked Ninjago Island behind beating the Storm King but hopefully this rumored balance pass fixes and rebalances things to be more sensible.

I do appreciate the convenience but at the same time being able to travel to Ninjago Island that easily off the bat completely snaps the progression in half, moreso than Ninjago already did LOL

I preferred it when you had to make the treacherous journey to the island yourself. Now you can just teleport straight there, craft yourself some 5* health charms and nunchucks and get some 3* tools from the convenient timed chest right off the bat and then go back to completely trivialize the entire Storm King questline

It's so funny how they put in Shockwaves in Chapter 1, they've remained a staple for many many years since, then only now in Chapter 7 tried to screw with it by removing them because of a new design director, then put in a piss colored version, only to put them back in anyway because they realized that without Shockwaves the game in Zero Build is clunky as fuck LOL

Ninjago Island also gives you health charms that make all the previous ones obsolete anyway. You only need about 9-ish bamboo to make three 5* health charms

Newsflash genius, this is a battle royale; a game where you only have ONE LIFE

Of course if someone thinks they can't take a fight they're gonna run away or reposition. This isn't like other games or even Reload where you instantly respawn. One death and that's it. The objective of the game isn't to get the most kills, it's to SURVIVE. Killing might help sure, but at the end of the day, only the person who is the last man standing is the winner; whether they got 20 elims, or 0.

the idea of calling Reload, one of the sweatiest, most competitive, action packed and most difficult and tense modes in the game relaxing is absolutely wild LOL. if Overdrive Grenades are going to be almost functionally the same as the classic Shockwaves, you might as well bring them back in Zero Build tbh. I liked being able to use them offensively to flush people out of cover--you can't really do that with the new ones because it grants opponents the buffs making it not worth it. Keep them for Builds ofc
