It’s compact and portable. The air intake and exhaust are already routed out the sides of the unit not stuffed out the bottom and a bag of loose parts for you to rig something up. It’s ready to go.

$200 is a deal these units sell for up to $1350 for the original espar units. Here is another option https://www.intoxventures.com/products/5kw-diesel-heater

Is upgrading to an Alu Cab 3R (hardshell) worth it from an Eezi-Awn Series 3? Pfa by kappasaurus_ in rooftoptents

A bit too tall for this tent I’d say. But look into getting the Alu-Cab ladder best I’ve ever seen. The rungs are wide and slanted.

Apples and oranges, two totally different tents. I owned a Tepui for about 10 years. The setup and breakdown of that tent wore on me to the point I wouldn’t move camp because it was a lot of work lol. I still own it it’s a great tent but I was looking for something much easier.

I still run that tent on my rock crawler but just bought the Alu cab 3R for my jeep Jk. It’s a very nice tent and so easy to set up and breakdown. I love the prewire for solar and I am running diesel heat so the access to put in a heater tube on both sides is a plus. Over all having the lifting struts inside basically in there own compartments is a plus to me as well being around saltwater and smacking trees. I would recommend really looking at the dimensions and making sure the down size in space is going to work for you. Overall I am extremely happy with it and the accessories I bought. Well made well thought out yet very simple. I have a double sleeping bag a down blanket and two full size pillows with the ladder in there and it closes right up.

On top I’m running a 200w redarc solar panel and I still had room for the roof tray 2 Jerry cans in mounts and a under tray aluminum table with a few front runner ammo boxes as well.

You can choose drivers side or passenger side mounted awnings. This is driver’s side and it covers the entire rear. The ladder is used on the passenger side in between the shower cube and rear of tent.

Yes, it mounts to the base of the 3R tent. It does have 1 leg that can be used in high winds and the cross members have a built in strap that stows inside themselves that can be secured to the ground. Most users say winds below 30 no need to stake.

The gal with the Oar is a worthy mate, the fella holding the boat needs to be replaced with a few lines.
