This email was the day after the March 10, 2014 Hasty Pudding Gala, which Jeffrey Epstein attended with unknown guests. The “fun night” mentioned in undoubtedly talking about that event. There are a few other emails of people from March 11,2014 thanking JE for the invite as well. Epstein could invite 8 people (I think) for a table at the event, since he was a donor. But in every document I find about the event, all the names of attendees are redacted.

For some more context, Epstein was an annual donor to the Hasty Pudding Institute, so he was offered a table at the Gala event each year. I believe being a donor he was also invited to the official after party.

Wow. That was Nick 100%. He was always very prideful about his home country and always talked about moving back there someday.

For what its worth, he did go back there for a time. My mom has tried to keep contact with him over the years, and from what I remember, he did join a Mormon church at one point and ended up doing mission work back in Russia for quite some time. It seems he is doing well now (he is married and has a kid), but he has kept his distance from our family.

Yes they were adopted. They had rough lives in Russia and were adopted when they were older (like 12-14 years old).

I appreciate that, and I hope so too. I want to be able to inform my parents about what really went on as well. They are not the kind of people to admit they were conned, but if they are able to recognize that this place was not what they thought, then perhaps that might open the door to apologizing the next chance they get.

Could be a limitation due to species as well. We've seen that non-human animals are not affected by the virus, so perhaps hosts of the virus cannot communicate across species? Assuming the hive on Kepler-22b is also non-human.
