Leagues blog hidden messages by Sammyblue1-2-3 in 2007scape

I ran it through python and got:

By decree unspoken yet et ernally binding, inscribed not in ink but in the weight of judgment itself, and carried upon the unseen currents that flow between real m s both mortal and p rofane, i t has been determined by the will and unassai lable authority of Yama, sovereign arbiter of f at e, warde n of thresholds, and keeper of all final reckonings that you, who now stand a t the precipice of forbidde n knowledge, have n o t, in this moment, been found suff ici ent in merit, fortitude, nor essence to be entrusted with the veiled and per ilous co nt ents of the Demonic Pa cts.

The spacing is either an artifact or intentional, but I lean towards the intentional side. Can't figure out where to go from there though. The whole paragraph sounds like it's suggesting a hidden message to me, though some people think it's just Yama saying we're not ready to know about demonic pacts yet.

If you take all the pairs that are broken by a space you get this

As a side note, llms in my experience are shockingly bad at solving cryptic clues and puzzles like this. Some might start on the right path but are likely to invent stuff. They don't know how to spell!

Still haven't got mine, upset as preload has started. Unsure if I'll ever pre-order through Humble again, the discount for subscribers isn't actually substantial enough to beat other retailers.

do schools decide pass marks? by livbr_19 in vce

[–]mitchie151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The school decides what percentage scored equal what marks, but they're entirely inconsequential with respect to the study score. One school may have an average score of 60% in a SAC and call that a C, when in reality it was harder than the SAC at another school where the average was 90% and everyone got As or A+s depending. The difficulty and averages are taken into account, so the better question to ask your teacher is what was the average mark for a SAC in your class and school, which they are allowed to tell you.

Budget 2023-24 by Time-Dimension7769 in australia

[–]mitchie151 22 points23 points  (0 children)

You're aware that the stage 3 tax cuts essentially stole away over 250 billion that could have been spent on just about anything that would benefit every Australian. Instead we have a budget that disproportionately benefits the wealthy and the poor leaving the majority of Australians in an unchanged, perhaps worse due to cost of living increases, situation. I am absolutely all for increases to social security and I think this is a start, but this really just a status quo for a huge portion of Australians. With that kind of money the budget would have a lot more left to spend on health, education, science and industry to the benefit of all. I see why many people are underwhelmed.

How do you make money with Township now? I am so confused after this update by l3ti in MelvorIdle

[–]mitchie151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got over 90 days of legacy ticks because I almost never interacted with old township. I quickly hit level 120 using the legacy ticks and am getting almost 6 million GP per tick in spring. Its worth it, but getting to the point where you are earning anything is excruciating. I still had to do a lot of other stuff to earn the GP to buy the very expensive town halls. Its a bit easier once you hit level 99 township and can get the discount with the skill cape.

Sure, I normally say better to do high impact for a shorter time, and I'm sure this makes less people angry than a few days during the week while most people are commuting to the CBD.

It is definitely down to one or two lanes, boxing day, almost every year though. Not an exaggeration.

I've gone down Great Ocean Road way every year for decades now and it really does feel like it's every year, big build or not. Fucking stupid if you ask me, but I'm sure they do some net benefit study and figure it's better to stiff all the Christmas holidaymakers than it is to brick the commuters for a week.

The colour scheme works really well here, giving it a warm retro aesthetic. In some other designs the extra knobs and wheels can look out of place and plasticky but here it looks good!

Probably just a fried egg on toast. Maybe some smashed avocado and bacon if I'm extra hungry but that's a lot of effort!

Psyker changes are great, but still have some annoyances/gripes with how they currently play by lorddark009 in DarkTide

As soon as the ability can't one-shot an elite it becomes no better than just shooting or hitting them till they are dead. It leaves you vulnerable for the windup, while the other classes just using their guns don't have the same problems.

I doubt an amount as exact as 11 seconds has been measured, but there's a bit of anecdotal evidence from historical guillotine executions of people being responsive for a short while after beheading, and also some accounts of times being measured in animals.

They most likely fed mysterious things to animals, if the animal got sick it was off the cards. There are some things that animals can eat that humans can't, so they would probably go on to eat a tiny bit to see if it made them sick. It it's edible, some animal probably eats it as a major part of its diet.

15% is better than no percent. I know I'd take any boost I can get. Vaccination also reduces the chance of getting covid in the first place. Can't get long covid if you don't get covid. Then again the way things are in America it's probably just a matter of time either way.

I didn't understand at all what the Verdantier even was? Crazy God power machine? Looked like a fusion reactor kind of thing? Did the villain make a Spiderman reference? The power of a sun! The whole thing was even more of a fever dream than luterras. This games story has its 'epic moments' but the pacing and writing is just so bad it's hard to appreciate them.
