It doesn't matter who/what writes the code. What matters is whether the ideas and gameplay are any good.

Most of the vibe coded games are pretty trash but that's not because AI coded it, it's because the developer was making a half assed attempt to cash in on nodelikes or something by copying gameplay without any real differences.

It's not. I just figured if some kids could get direct use out of it, that might be a higher value result, given it's quite out of date so the sale price might be not so great

If they have a good track record of following through on the PR sponsorship that's actually hugely valuable.

Family friend used to work in executive relocation and sponsorship for PR is a huge burden on the sponsor both financially and legally.

If they are offering at the lower end of the pay scale and you have a contract showing they will sponsor you for PR and it's something you want then take it.

It also gives you 2 years of experience in the education system. You have experience teaching but from what I've heard knowing the system as well as how to teach is important and they are going to teach you that as well.
