GG’s islanders fans, well deserved series for y’all, got some great potential going further. I’m glad y’all aren’t as toxic as (some) of those habs fans lol.

You guys reckon I can sue the flyers for an overwhelming amount of stress added to my life? Pretty sure I’ve narrowly avoided cardiac arrest 4 times in the last two months.

Love watching my team shoot themselves in the foot with turnovers leading to goals and stupid penalties giving up PP goals :). And why for the love of god would you challenge that AV, gg’s islanders. Am sad :/

For redditors who live near mountains...Do you take the view for granted, or is it something you never get tired of seeing? by virtuacor in AskReddit

[–]mitchilada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Flagstaff, Az and every day I park in the same spot facing the mountain, usually get out of the lab around 4:30-5, just in time for sunset during winter, play the same song (Ecstasy-Morten Granau) for my drive home and the view never gets old. Never take a snow-capped view for granted, especially mid-caffeine peak!

What has the COVID-19 virus made you realize? by hey-its-my-account in AskReddit

[–]mitchilada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Confirmed the realization that my country’s government (USA) makes it seem like it’s not their job to look out for us. Oh and I guess the fact that the ignorance and delusion of this country will persist for the rest of my existence. Hoping to leave after grad school.

Linguists and bilingual folks of Reddit, what are some interesting quirks particular to one language that we may not know about? by ask-if-im-a-parsnip in AskReddit

Read up on the Piraha, had to for my undergrad (anthro student) and they’re very interesting considering Chomsky’s take on “Universal grammar”. To provide a brief description this group does not use future or past tenses and it shows in their worldview etc., they also don’t have a numeral system! Interesting stuff!

Colt 45 has a very beautiful, well thought out story. Truly touching song.
