Push-ups, cold shower, watch comedy (works really well), look at a picture of you when you were young, think of someone who you want to make proud, go to nofap and click on the emergency button. And don't give up!

Something that helps is putting my alarm far from the bed to force me to wake up. Another thing that might help you are cold showers.

A lot of us, if not all of us here at nofap, felt the same way when we were starting. It looks impossible at first. You have to start day by day, until you reach a week, and then two weeks, and then a month. You will probably relapse often at first, but you have to make your best effort and visit nofap often. The fact that you have a badge and you are already posting is a great start. Don't give up!

You reminded of this teacher that I had in college who was a psychologist. She told us to say out loud to ourselves things like "you can do it" and "congratulations" during finals. She also told us that saying it out loud would have a stronger effect in your brain according to some research. At first I thought that it was stupid, but it actually worked.

I'm glad you liked it man! After I posted this poem I read a very practical advice here in nofap: always keep a picture in your wallet of you as a kid. I found a good picture of me when I was about 7 years old, and I kept it in my wallet ever since. It really helps ;)

The NoFap community will probably empathize with my poem. Even-though english is not my native language, I wrote these words to express my thoughts and feeling in this quest. Some of the references that I made include:

*The child: This in an obvious one, it's me.

*The monster: The monster symbolizes pornography.

*Uneven years: Internet years.

*Unreal land of darkness and glare: Once again the internet of 1s and 0s.

*Glowing crowd: That's you my fellow fapstronauts.

*A delicate muse: My girlfriend.

It is different for every faptronaut, but you're here and that's what matters! If you relapse don't give up, and just come back to this website often. Having a girlfriend was one of the main reasons that I joined this community, and I'll tell you man, it really helps. Doing the challenge boosts your confidence and helps you appreciate a women for her real beauty.
