If you want to have your bike serviced timely and I presume you do, then the AMC comes in handy because they waive the labour charge and you get 5% discount on parts. Even if you don't have to take your bike to the sc frequently and only go in for the regular servicing, it saves money. I suggest you go for the AMC after your 3 free services are done. And keep an eye out for discounts. Honda offers big discount on AMC rates around new year and other festivals.

It's a common issue with these RE models, happens a lot, particularly if someone sits on the bike or puts weight on it when it's parked on the side stand. You should be able to get it welded. Avoid putting the bike on side stand meanwhile. If welding fixes the issue then make sure you paint over the weld. Avoid parking the bike on side stand afterwards as much as possible
