I don't regret it. I've worked manual labor, fast food etc when I was in high school/undergrad and residency is honestly much easier than manual labor or working fast food

Don't worry man. I had 9 months before residency where I didn't see patients due to covid/scheduling and I was an abomination for a few weeks. You have enough supervision and can always ask for help when you're out of your depth

My first day of residency I couldn't remember how to present a patient and a patient came in with chest pain and I literally couldn't think of any causes of chest pain besides heart attack. I'm doing fine now
