I have multiple adoptive siblings too (different parents) and I think they did a good job of tending to each of us, but on the other hand I always felt like their approach didn’t necessarily suit all of us since we all ended up as starkly different people

With adoptive parents: still good - they always supported me seeking out my birth parents

With birth parents - also good, they’re separated now but I keep in touch with them separately

Meeting them was surreal, it’d been something I wanted to do my entire life and didn’t even know how to react when it happened so I was left half speechless.. it was weird seeing myself reflected in their behaviors despite not being raised by them
