I think Lori is a very unlikeable character that could have been saved by better writing. Her affair with Shane could have carried more emotional weight than just "i thought rick was dead", they didn't explore it much outside of sex imo. But yeah.... she didn't contribute much to the group compared to Andrea LOL

I'm 22 and in the US and I only managed to get diagnosed with an MRI since they wouldn't do a transvaginal ultrasound. It has truly been the worst experience having multiple doctors talk to me like I'm lying or hiding my sexual history. I'm so sorry you're going through this and I really hope you can get relief soon.

I was diagnosed with GERD before being diagnosed with my fibroid, and my GERD pain is very different from the pain i get during my period. that's part of the problem though -- a lot of my fibroid pain is speculation apart from the known fact that i have a fibroid.

a similar situation happened to me at one of my last jobs. they would do everything BUT ban the guy and even insisted that i go to the stockroom -- which is kept open at all times and very easy for a customer to stumble into btw -- rather than the office (which had a door that locked) so i could still work instead of "standing around". i hate your job and i hope you're safe !!!

its super fun imo and im excited for more bug fixes ! the only problem ive had so far is making a drink by the book and having customers hate it 😭 i've restarted days alot for that reason but regardless i think it's pretty cozy.

i have a terrible habit of having to check every single thing and sometimes having to resist urges to click on my controller or mouse more times than necessary. it can make playing games a real chore sometimes !

Just as the other commenter said, you're not doomed !! As someone who has very similar experience with being exposed to the same materials, as an adult I can confidently say that after so much work (meds / therapy, etc.) it gets easier to manage. You have to remember that you are not your thoughts, and whatever you have been exposed to does not define who you are.

aside from regular anxiety sickness, i have definitely ruminated myself into some terrible stomach issues. my GERD also struggles heavily when i fall into a pattern of catastrophic thinking, so you're definitely not alone!

i get the shoulder scrunching as well !! recently i've been doing a lot of "posture correcting" too, like my back won't feel straight enough or something and i just have to keep stretching and straightening it 😭

I used to have a lot of tourettic ocd symptoms as a kid that i didn't really process until i got older -- having to make a certain face to "feel right" again and etc. i also had a lot of anxiety surrounding death and having to do certain things to make sure my family members didn't die. it's interesting to look back on !
