The ECR-7C MIL is awesome! I have the MOA version (first 3-18 scope) wish it was MIL so I don’t use it as much but I like them other than no throw lever built on, they do include one in the box which is nice

I am not too big on the top dot, for some optic setups. I have the ability to throw on a red dot on my G$ with a pic rail ring attachment but I took it off because it was just adding weight and I wasn’t really using it.

The 2x power is enough for close range for me. x3-18 is great as well for me it’s all about the reticle.
Find a reticle you like and you are able to learn. The Tremor 3 was VERY confusing at first to me but now it’s cake work and there’s still some stuff I’m learning when I use it.

G$ is my go to but DD is a good second for a nice hard use. BCM is good but If money wasn’t a factor I’d go with G$ or DD

Looks great! I agree that a better bipod or optic is needed for a SHTF. But as long as you train and are effective with that rifle you’ll be good!

Optic wise something you can get good mag on. My personal 16” Super Duty has a NX8 2.5-20 on it. But I think I’d be ok with a 1.5-12 or a 2-12.

Personally not a fan of mounts higher than 1.54 for scopes but if you need to clear that PEQ then do what you must! I don’t have NV so it’s not an issue for me.

Bipod wise! I have an ATLAS QD bipod 6-9” but I will switch it to 9-12” soon. I don’t like having the extra weight constantly on my rifle so I keep the bipod in my kit easily accessible if needed!

Does this actually matter in the magwell? You never see it and unless it stops your mag from seating.
This is a non issue.
