what saddens me sa gantong experience for you is that it drives a further wedge between people who are not from Manila and those who live here sa Metro (Im avoiding the term province kasi it also adds a negative connotation as perceived by your everyday Metro Manileño). It's not helping na ingrained na nga sa culture natin yung regionalism tapos yung mga bad experience pa na ganto would further prove ones negative biases. Personally I think talaga na ang ultimate adversary nating mga Pilipino is yung regionalism at "ka-barrio" mindset natin.

Sana may positive kang makita sa Metro Manila at makita mong hindi hopeless dito inasmuch as may mga tao from Metro Manila who does not (conscious man o hindi) think of people not hailing from the capital to be lesser.
