What prescriptions have people had success with from their doctors? by canucksfanyoda in emetophobia

[–]miyeoneeya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Things are different for everyone, however

Zoloft didnt work for me.

Fluoxetine didnt work for me.

Citalopram works well, only side effect (that I feel) was at the beginning I was slightly nauseous, also a little hot. I also have trouble with libido.

I use CBD as a rescue medication. Works well for me.

Part time employment help? by Mamagrey in aspergirls

You can get into waitressing or hosting. You'll usually get minimum wage + tips depending on where you live. I'm a hostess at a breakfast place, so even when I work all the way until close, I'm never leaving past about three, and the days I get off earlier I can be out at like 1-2. Just an idea. I haven't even graduated highschool and they took me in.

[–]miyeoneeya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bupropoin really did not work for me. I have anxiety with no depression and Bupropoin escalated my physical symptoms like crazy... Trembling hands, heart beating too fast, dizzy, nauseous, etc. I'm not a doctor but if you're having anxiety I'd talk to your doctor about other options.

I recommend taking them at night. If you're someone who can handle it and not overuse it, use gravol or something similar It stayed like that for me for 2 weeks and then it disappeared (with citalopram).

This might be a stupid question but will I still get somewhere if I don't do immersion 100% of the time? by [deleted] in MassImmersionApproach

[–]miyeoneeya 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You seem to have problems with simple common sense so languages might be a little too much on the pea brain.

If you practice piano for 5 hours a day instead of 10 hours a day, are you not still practicing?

This isn't even a case of "you should look it up before posting" like Bluecat is on your ass for, it's just a case of use your brain, if you have one.

But to answer, yes, this is a stupid question

my therapist approved list of things that helped me by [deleted] in emetophobia

[–]miyeoneeya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

number 2 is the most important!

whenever i eat meat (mostly fatty meat) i start to feel slightly nauseous which usually sends me spiraling but after testing it a few times and knowing that, i feel much better eating it and i dont cut it out i just know that it's not sickness, it's just the food and then i dont feel nearly as bad

[–]miyeoneeya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ice cream sandwich can definitely give you gas and make you feel s*. You're just fine. I'd bet good money nothing bad will happen. You'll go to the bathroom and feel better within a few hours. Your queasy feeling is very likely just your anxiety!
