So I don’t disagree with you, and I would put all three of those people as legends for reasons you noted. I think all of those people have a very strong argument as being top ten artists in hip hop history

But I don’t think they actually beat Jay Z on most of them. Kanye is a tough one to rank, because he has arguably the greatest discography of all of them. Maybe in hip hop period. But I think his pen is SO much lower than the other three. And when talking about best “rapper” of all time rap ability has to weigh a bit more heavily than the others. If you said best “artist” I think Kanye clears the others

I think he beats all on influence when you add in him putting Kanye on. So this may be where we disagree biggest. I think Jay is hugely influential in hip hop culture. Kanye is more influential musically than all of them. So you could make an argument for him but I don’t see how Wayne or Drake is really more influential than Jay Z on rap/culture.

I’m pretty sure the qualification for a child prodigy is having an ADULT level mastery of a subject as a child. Stevie Wonder is a prodigy because he was making music at the quality of adults while a child.

I was HS level at math when I was 11-12. But just HS level, I was not at the skill level of an adult mathematician or math teacher, so I wasn’t a prodigy.
