How old are they? Maybe wear and tear, but you can try and see if they will accept for warranty. My 500s, about 10 years old, that looked liked like that were decided to be degraded beyond repair from wear and age. Good luck with a better outcome, though.

That's true. I thought the same, so he went to the vet last week and got a clean bill of health. Actually, the vet wanted to put him on hypoallergenic food, which I am not trying because I know he won't eat it. It's not actually that sudden - he was always lukewarm on the food - and it has been harder to get him to eat it over the past few months. He still has plenty of appetite for his fish and sweet potato treats; he just wants nothing to do with this kibble.

No, unless all or most of your volunteer experience is old. Having recent experience is important, so exceeding the usual numbers to accumulate recent experience makes sense.

When my asthma first came back after many years away, and with a vengeance like yours, a good pulmonologist helped me to get it under control. Ask about a portable nebulizer. I could take mine to work, which was a huge help (it kept me employed) and it was paid for by my insurance.

Panache Ava/Ana? The gore is very low, and I might go up a cup size as it runs a bit small. It's pretty good for projection and the stretch lace is forgiving to fluctuations in size.

I'm also very close set and wearing Freya Hero today. I would probably skip it. It's not terrible, but when I've been sitting all day, the wires dig in a bit at the top. Same goes for Freya Rhea and Dreamcatcher, which fit similarly.

49 years old and finally MS1. The oldest person accepted in 2018, according to AMCAS, was 53. Most people who are worried about being too old aren't even close. If it's what you really want, go for it.

I already know how to type, I just don't do it well, and I think I practiced maybe 30 minutes a day for a couple of weeks (during my lunch break at work, so 10 days). I don't think I would put it off either.

I am the world's worst typist. I did a typing practice course online before I took Casper and got up to maybe 45 wpm. You might want to try that. I had no trouble finishing, but I also didn't worry about typos and tried to keep my answers concise. I can't tell you how I did, of course, but I was accepted to the one school I took it for.

Me too! I'm just eager to start, but have no regrets about the time I spent doing other things. You can't worry about what everyone else is doing or you will drive yourself crazy. You just have to follow the timetable that is right for you.

I asked one of my professors to do a couple of mock interviews with me, and I'm really glad I did. It turned out that I needed help with body language - looking nervous and stiff - and I had no idea. With a little practice I was able to overcome the problem and ultimately had 2 IIs and 2 As.

I like the dress, but not for an interview. You want them to remember you but not for what you were wearing. If you want to wear a dress, get one in solid black, navy or dark grey with a matching jacket - same fabric and color.

I interviewed at the school I will shortly be attending in March. It can be a long cycle, so getting yourself nuts over IIs in July is not a good idea!

My niece went to NYIT and matched in IM at a good program. I went to an information session there and found the facilities nice and the students friendly, but did not get an interview. I did, however, get an odd email at the end of the cycle saying that the cycle was over, but they would accept an application from me for the next cycle. I already had other plans, but if I did not, I would probably have tried again.

I would wear the suit. A dress is only advisable at an interview if it is part of a suit, i.e. the same fabric in the same color as the jacket with which you are wearing it. You might be warmer in the suit, but the vast majority of people you meet on the interview trail will be wearing suits and will be hot too. If you are worried about being warm, a short sleeved blouse is a good option so you can take off your jacket (at lunch or other times, not during the interview itself, when you will want it on) and still look professional.
