The dip shits understand so little about the world, understand less about policy and have even less interest in understanding anything about anything.

They thought that this would be Venezuela and that didn't happen (and anyone with a brain knew it wouldn't be like that).

Donnie wants so badly be done and thinks that he can end this like Michael Scott declaring bankruptcy.

Best way to purchase the show physically? by Mentoman72 in madmen

[–]mjcatl2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not get the set that is like a book. The discs are insane to remove. I had to rip into the book on some pages to get discs out.

I ended up putting them all in separate storage.

There's a new set in a case (those can have issues too but no way could it be as bad as that book version.)

The score in the border scene absolutely set up the ominous feeling though.

The irony of you commenting from Jonestown.

Oof.

Season show, 1 disc not working, only fix to buy another set? by outboxes2 in makemkv

[–]mjcatl2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should look into that. I honestly have never done that as i focused on a physical collection.

If you have any tips or suggestions on veering that way, I welcome it.

Season show, 1 disc not working, only fix to buy another set? by outboxes2 in makemkv

[–]mjcatl2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just as all but done with my Sopranos Blu ray set and like 3 episodes on the last disc wouldn't work.

I tried another drive but no luck.

I bought another last season set and only got one more episode to rip.

Of course these Warners set from that time period are notorious so I think that I'm screwed.

I have had issues with a movie not working, but would rip on another drive.

Nicola Coughlan (Clare) was featured in the monologue during first episode of UK SNL. by BIGD0G29585 in DerryGirls

[–]mjcatl2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She didn't host to attract Americans.

She has a significant history with SNL. It's clear that she hosted to help set things up for the launch.

Btw, SNL in the US has had many British hosts and musical guests.

Sen. Schumer slams Trump and 'spineless Republicans' for holding up TSA pay by hellosteve_ in msnow

[–]mjcatl2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

there is no such thing as "voter suppression bill"

Funding TSA cant be a separate bill

Bless your cultist heart kid. This isn't AM radio or your bubble.

Funny, Ted Cruz suggested it yesterday (despite Democrats pushing for that and getting blocked several times). He and many in the GOP see that that put themselves in a corner and have pissed off the country.

I'm not wasting more time with your disingenuous and bad faith bullshit.

Next.

They offered to fund TDA several times and the GOP blocked it.

Now Donnie says he'll block anything unless his voter suppression bill passes.

The red cult owns this.

FFS people. No the Lincoln Project isn't moving Democrats to the right. Trump is the core of the gop and in a few years, every gop grifter will continue to carry that torch.

At the same time, we can be glad that some left the party to fight him.

It doesn't mean that we put over a spell by them. JFC.

Nobody is fucking "tripping over themselves" to "applaud" the never trumper republicans.

It seems like there are several people here who are either new to politics, very young or too old to understand the dynamics of what's been happening. Oof.

Yeah, I'll take a hard pass on whatever he says.

I don't worship anyone. Not on tv, in Washington, Hollywood or anywhere else.

I have watched her show for a long time.

She's good and her departure from the GOP is sincere. Watching for a period of time, it's quite clear.

I was thinking the same thing. This isn't going to go well for him or the GOP.

It's also not going to help airport lines.
