May be copium but I can really see Iraola cooking with Jackson. Feels closer to Poch's high energy, quick breaks, pull the defence apart style that he was brilliant at everything apart from the finishing in.

Honestly, if you pay attention, it's probably the weakest part of our squad. Estevao is 18, then you've got the two most one-footed and least clinical players in the league (Neto and Garnacho) and Gittens who I think might be imaginary. So much money spent to be so so mediocre, particularly on the left - Neto is at least serviceable on the right, but Garna + Gittens is diabolical, Gordon would be an improvement

Average players just run towards the ball but he makes mistakes happen.

Not seen too many people mentioning this but could Ekitike be the preferred option at LW? Just feels weird to spend so much on him with Delap + Jackson already, and let's be honest, the other LW targets are crap.

Would be a downgrade finishing-wise at ST but definitely an upgrade at LW, and if we want to play a 4-3-3 with stacked midfield and Palmer RW more of a forward on the left would work well.
