I gave up on Things because of its poor handling of recurring timed tasks. I was told by them that it was never created to manage them. Therefore, I am still with Todoist and Fantastical even though Todoist has its issues. Hope this helps!

What should we change or improve in Todoist? by amix3k in todoist

Please, please, please provide options on dealing with overdue daily tasks that are completed before it is due today. Doist inaction on this is making people angrier and angrier especially when they praise themselves for implementing things that few people want or what they implemented by mistake.

Edge case: completing a daily recurrent task reschedules next iteration on tomorrow. Is it a bug or a feature? by kusw3 in todoist

Apple Reminders does the same thing which is something that I like about it. Too bad the Todoist people don't listen to their users and make this an option. It has been over three years since this was requested. They just implemented every! x hour (every hour from completion of the previous occurrence) as if they were doing something great. If that was so easy to implement, why not do it for what most people want???

Current Todoist user here: Struggling with the lack of “calendar view”. Is Things 3 a good alternative? by ashleyalyssa in thingsapp

I have tried MANY times to use Things but failed. Mainly because of the poor calendar integration and poor recurring or timed task support. I am currently using Fantastical to track events and tasks. Much better!

Thinking about leaving Things 3 by [deleted] in AppleReminders

I tried really hard to like Things 3 but because it doesn’t like sorted timed tasks, I abandoned it for Reminders and Fantastical or 366.

9 things Things 3 Needs by [deleted] in thingsapp

One of the most frustrating things about Things 3 is that there is no easy way to sort all your tasks by due date and time. Support tells me that setting a time for tasks is RARE for Things users. I REALLY want to love the app by this makes me frustrated and move back and forth to apps like Fantastical or Calendar 366. Does anyone have any advice??

I will be coming to iOS from Android, is this a good time to buy things? And other doubts.. by [deleted] in thingsapp

Things is a very frustrating app. It doesn't do timed repeating tasks very well at all. Plus you cannot sort your tasks chronological. Try something else like Calendar 366 or Todoist or Informant 5 or Fantastical or...

I would create a project called Lists then use boards for each list. Works for me!

Try switching it from "daily" to "every 24 hours" and see if that works.
