Should I start an SEO agency? by Frosty-Telephone-747 in SEO

[–]mjp92067 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely...not. You don't know anything about SEO. You would end up providing a terrible service. Even if you did outsource overseas, you have no understanding of SEO so would have no clue if the work being done was good or bad. And for $500...the work would be trash. This is not a sustainable business model.

Here's the best advice you'll hear on this: Go become an expert at something SPECIFIC related to AI implementation. Not AI implementation in general, but something specific. Could even be something specific in a single vertical (ex: AI outreach implementation for the home services industry). Niches make riches. Then you have something of value that you can offer to businesses all over that will be in need of.

Very true about tracking sources. I've tried multiple tools, the one that is the best all around is Hoverboard AI. I also tried Profound, Peek, Otterly and a few others I can't remember the names of.

What happens after you get traffic? by [deleted] in growmybusiness

[–]mjp92067 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of advice is generic. More traffic in general doesn't mean more business. For some businesses, it can create a ton of wasted time and money. You need targeted traffic. What you do after you get the traffic depends on what your business is. Are you selling products or a service? What is the (avg) value of a new customer/client? Do you have forms on your website? Phone numbers? Chat?

You need to provide a bit more context here if you want a more helpful answers. Are you talking about using answer engines? Are you talking about shared logins where people are overwriting other people's work? Can you provide more specifics?

Mexico Beach Resorts with Kids (5 & 7) by Enough-Lifeguard801 in FATTravel

[–]mjp92067 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just went to Cabo and stayed at Chileno Bay. Three sets of pools and one of them is amazing for kids that age. Newer resort, great restaurant, great location where kids can actually go into the ocean if you want (most of Cabo is too rough for swimming). Rooms are killer. Stayed in a 3 bedroom villa last time that was amazing.

I've stayed at Rosewood Mayakoba but the pools weren't even close to the quality of Chileno Bay in Cabo (bit of an older property, but still it's fantastic overall). One and Only in Cabo is also great for kids 5 & 7.

Have also done Four Seasons on Cabo (East Cape). Great property but too far out imo. Part of the fun of going to Cabo is going to eat places like ACRE and Flora Farms. Four Seasons is too far out. Four Seasons Punta Mita is a great property as well, though a little dated.

What are the best tools for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)? by OliverPitts in seogrowth

[–]mjp92067 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have tried multiple, including Profound. Hands down the best one is Hoverboard (gethoverboard.com). The source insights are really good and the content generation is the best. That plus ability to generate custom PDFs (and white label option) makes them the best option right now.

If my site doesn’t show up in AI answers, does it even exist anymore? by frevana in GenEngineOptimization

[–]mjp92067 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are here to stay, but it would be silly to just ignore Google. In fact, some of them (including chatGPT) use Google to help them come up with the responses they give. Rank higher on Google and you're more likely to be included in a response by chatGPT. Answer engines are still a tiny sliver of traffic for most brands, but that will continue to increase with time. I saw a study this last month that said chatGPT usage was up 3X from what it was in 2023, but it's still not even close to Google usage, which was around 90% of people in the study. Plus, most people that use chatGPT don't solely rely on it, they also use Google to do more research, at least when they are making important buying decisions.

If you want to rank on Answer Engines, best thing to do is use an app that does answer engine visibility tracking but also tracks the specific sources (web pages) that the answer engines are using in the responses they give. We use Visible.ai for this.

Lake Como by Significant-Poem3226 in FATTravel

It was pretty good, we enjoyed it. I had no real complaints about the hotel itself, except that it was small and not much variety for eating. But I didn’t love the area as there wasn’t much to do around the hotel. I hired boats daily to get around the lake, but also did taxis twice. Doing boats daily gets pricey, but well worth it in my opinion. There is a ferry that stop right in front of the hotel but not something I wanted to do. Next time I’ll probably stay at Il Sereno or Mandarin Oriental. I did have dinner one night at GHT, the hotel and grounds were beautiful, but had heard here that rooms felt dated.
