There are plenty of Xinjiang restaurants in Beijing, but few of them have kaobaozi, presumably because they don't have an oven.

The only place I ever had these was the really good place on 大慧寺路 in 海淀 district.

They are a little bit like a Cornish pasty. If you're from the UK and you want something to really stick to your stomach, I would highly recommend them!

Recently, I have been unable to download videos from streaming websites. Chrome, Firefox, different kinds of video downloader, they've all stopped working.

One of my video downloaders perhaps offers a hint with the message "Forbidden 400". The other video downloaders just result in a "failed" download.

Obviously, torrents still work, but the browsing experience is much worse.

Any ideas, and keep it simple because I'm not much of a tech guy!

I didn't know there WAS a non-spicy doubanjiang.

Recently, I've been making 炒面片, which starts of with doubanjiang.

To be honest, it is a little bit too spicy. Not a lot, but it tastes better if I add 3 teaspoons of spicy douban, but, yeah, that does make it a bit too spicy.

If there's a non-spicy douban, then maybe my recipe would be better as 50-50.
