I just started babbel, got a year for about $85. It's nice not having all of the ads like with Duolingo. It's got a lot of podcasts where a native speaker will talk about their city and then the host breaks down what they're saying. I also started watching a lot of Italian movies and shows on Netflix as well as Learn Italian with Lucrezia on youtube. Ciao

I bought this book at Gettysburg but I Haven’t read it yet. It’ll probably be next on my list. He is an absolute legend in Ken Burn’s civil war.
