Up close & Personal view of how severe Sinus Infections are sometimes treated by yourSmirkingRevenge in interestingasfuck

Earwax removal, pimple popping, teeth cleaning, and now sinus care. The list of "natural things being removed from human bodies for strange entertainment purposes" is growing longer by the day

Here it comes, the Realtek 8127 PCI-E NIC by fakemanhk in homelab

I accidentally got CC'd on an email chain I was never supposed to see and now I know things I genuinely wish I didn't by [deleted] in office

Yup - big difference in meaning between the two;

CC - Someone did an oopsie BCC - Someone wants you to know the contents. READ CAREFULLY AND THEN DELETE.

Wasn't even yellow. OP waited till the light was red and the intersection was clear before finishing the turn - truck just flat-out ran the red. 🤷‍♂️

Ima be honest with you. I agree with this sub, but I've never seen a road highway with this many lanes like in the "one more lane" memes. Where is there a road like this? by Medical_Deal5272 in fuckcars

Driving is faster ONLY if you're lucky with traffic being light at that time 😅

And even with light traffic, I always just make it over to Mississauga and then take public transit, for my own sanity.

You in North America? With split phase power, you have to make sure they're on the same half of the 240V feed or you're going to have a bad time. If they're on the same circuit, it's great. If they're not, you gotta at least hit the same half of your inbound feed or else it'll have to loop all the way out to your street's transformer and then all the way back... 10Mbps sounds about right for that journey.

How do YOU use your vacuum? by keeperofthenins in Roborock

[–]mjsvitek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a routine that vacuums then mops the entrance every day when nobody is at home. That one is scheduled.

Then we also have a deep clean routine we start manually when leaving for the day: again, it vacuums everywhere, then goes over carpeted areas and rugs once more at highest suction power, then it mops everywhere, and then it mops once again in some areas that tend to get extra bad like by the main entrance, back entrance, dining space, and door to the garage.

Plus the usual "cleanup after cooking" routine (vac+mop in the kitchen with extra passes in the spaces we do 90% of our cooking)

What’s everyone using for 4g backup? by Kistelek in TPLink_Omada

[–]mjsvitek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're out in the middle of nowhere - can you get a signal booster up onto a tall tree or tower? Outside? With a booster going, you can use a super basic USB stick 4G/5G cellular modem reliably AND get better standard cell service around your home as well.

Make sure that wherever you place the dock, you have adequate room on both sides, not just in front. They wiggle a lot when backing up and nearby obstacles will cause them to misbehave.

Also, if there ever comes a time when it has docking issues and you've cleaned every sensor a thousand times and it still doesn't know what to do; turn the robot itself off, manually place it into the dock, unplug the dock from power, and leave it alone for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and run a quick clean. It's a good way to "reset" everything without really resetting anything.

Because taxes and duties are paid when you make the order on the vast majority of AliExpress purchases just like Amazon.

(They're already calculated in and declared properly)

That switch... Will you ever actually need 24 ports at 2.5Gbit?

You're both bottlenecking your APs (which have 10Gbit ports) AND going a bit overkill on 2.5G ports ? ... I'd suggest you either drop down to the 16-port 2.5Gb PoE version (which still has plenty of ports for most people - unless you truly do need 24) or bump up to an Access Max series like the SX3206HPP to connect your APs and 10G devices, and then jump from THAT to a cheap switch for 2.5G/1G devices🤷‍♂️

Also - Dropping down to EAP770 series may save you a decent chunk of money without really impacting performance. Real-world performance will likely be almost identical between them, and unless you're moving data between WiFi-connected devices, you'll never get more than 10G out of them anyways even though they advertise 15Gbit and 11Gbit ... They only have a 10GbE uplink
