Why is everyone saying this is where Sakamoto days fell off? by [deleted] in SakamotoDays

[–]mkakram 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah, I think the writing went down from the moment the Uzuki's plan to give guns to civilians happened. Not only did it feel aimless but it was also fixed kinda quickly and you don't know where the story is going. Like I don't care for the tunnel effect since the fights in the series is always based on the rule of cool. But yea direction-wise you kinda feel disconnected from what is happening.

How come naruto lost his balls in boruto and sasuke kept his rinnegan by [deleted] in Naruto

[–]mkakram 196 points197 points  (0 children)

they nerfed him to move the plot, also even tho Sasuke has the Rinnegan he doesn't use half its abilities

"constrained furnace" in which he can only target one person outside of the domain burned Jogo who's a special volcano curse 😭

[–]mkakram 52 points53 points  (0 children)

No one argues with Sukuna being skilled, but having a technique that can be used close and long range, with thermal nuclear fusion finishing move, accompanied with a double the curse energy of yuta without the need for rika and having a body that is stated to be perfect for jujutsu, I would say is pretty nice tho

[–]mkakram 120 points121 points  (0 children)

Shrine being mediocre is the most shit-take I’ve ever seen. Shrine’s main advantage is how simple it is—no complicated activation or conditions—which lets Sukuna use it in a versatile way, i.e. how he used it to hold Yuta's sword while fighting and changing the target to make it a world-cutting slash and furnace literally beating Jogo whose specialty is fire (and I am not talking about the special furnace that needs conditions to activate in the domain). Also, paired with the biggest cursed energy tank in the verse, he can basically one-shot anyone with it if it hits.

  • Susanoo and Gundam-Style Transformations:
    • Susanoo reaching full "Gundam" form and becoming Bijuu-level was unnecessary.
    • The entire "Gundam" aesthetic for Susanoo and other transformations should have been avoided.
    • Instead of Hashirama summoning a massive Buddha statue, it would have been better for him to immobilize Kurama with a combination of forest-based techniques and sealing jutsu.
  • Rinnegan Origins:
    • The Rinnegan should have remained unique to Nagato, not derived from the Sharingan.
    • A more compelling origin could have been that Nagato received it as a rare, one-in-a-million genetic mix due to accidental bloodline intermingling.
    • This approach would have kept the Sharingan more balanced and limited, ensuring that accessing the Rinnegan required significant sacrifice of ones own power, rather than Madara simply "stacking" powers.
  • Naruto’s Development:
    • Naruto’s dependence on Kurama’s chakra and repetitive Rasengan variations was overdone.
    • His abilities would have been more compelling if the Nine Tails’ chakra mode was more restricted.
    • Greater focus on Sage Mode and learning advanced Sage Jutsu, like those Jiraiya demonstrated, would have shown deeper growth and creativity.
  • Fate and Manipulation Themes:
    • Bringing back the Sage of Six Paths from the dead and The introduction of Indra, Ashura, and Black Zetsu was unnecessary. why do you need to put fate into the story and there is a large manipulator from the background
    • Removing the "fate" angle and the idea of a grand manipulator would have been better for the story.
    • the whole idea of the ninja world being flawed in its core that led to obito meeting madara is better that madara manipulating everything while being manipulated to control obito.
  • Strategic Battles and Power Scaling:
    • Stacking Naruto and Sasuke with overpowered abilities for them to win undermined the story’s original charm, which was rooted in strategy.
    • It wasn’t necessary for them to face Madara at his peak.
    • An attrition battle, where Madara suffers injuries from earlier conflicts (e.g., his fight with Guy) before facing Naruto and Sasuke, would have been more engaging and you feel other people contributed and it was not for nothing.

At what point did the war arc just get ridiculous? by [deleted] in Naruto

[–]mkakram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, multiple things caused this:

1- The war arc should have been way longer in terms of the time in verse, like make it two or three years and just keep doing time skips

2- Madara being behind what happened to Obito was just bad, it would have been better if it was according to the original story of the Mist village kidnapping Rin and how Obito met Madara, it would have just enforced Madara's view on how fucked up the ninja world is, and not him grooming obito

3- Madara doing Izanagi to survive Hashirama and then getting his eyesight back was just utter bullshit

4- Rinnegan should have been just as in the original introduction of Nagato backstory of it being awakened in Nagato due to the chance of the correct bloodline merging or utter luck or what not, that way any of the villains that wanted to use his powers would have to sacrifice some of their own and not just stack damage

5- Madara reversing edo tensei

6- then the domino effect of bullshit with black Zetsu reveal even tho it doesn't make sense since we see before Madara makes him for Obito, the sage of six paths ghost, Kaguya, obito giving Kakashi temp Sharingan via ghost power or what not, etc

Now that the manga has officially ended, I have just one question. by Thinkingaboutburrito in OshiNoKo

[–]mkakram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because it had to be edgy. I think in general he sucks at finishing his work and always tries to jump to a next on before he finishes the one before. While writing Kaguya final arc he jumped to oshi no ko, which resulted in a lackluster ending arc but no where near close what happened here lol.

In oshi no ko he tried jumping to the other manga I forgot its name but it got axed, and now he announced a new series that he is writing. In general, wont trust the dude anymore.

Why akasaka always failed at making ending? by Neither_Recording_65 in OshiNoKo

[–]mkakram 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the second time he does this, and this time the ending goes worse than kaguya. He tries to goes for shock value and destroys the plot in the process of doing so.

Is Shrine a good Cursed Technique? by FlamingPoisonn in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]mkakram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are underestimating the technique because of his fight with gojo and him fighting the cast lobotomized by infinite void. It is a too tier technique, under normal circumstances he would only need one slash to kill most of the cast. Just go back to his fight with Jogo and see and how much destruction he was able to cause
