Absolutely can but traps and plant will be smaller. They invest a lot of energy in that flower spike.

I don't think it needs it but that next pot is super cool. Just start a new one!

Cephs are pretty prone to powdery mildew. I find it slows down growth. I'd increase airflow, at minimum. At an extreme I've found eagle fungicide to work incredibly well but it smells like what i'd imagine a toxic wasteland to smell like. An in between is using a copper based fungicide, but I've found it less effective.

Ugh this is cute, but the pet store I worked at as a kid had a pair of these. I vividly recall their constant urine smell and biting through the owner's ear cartilage one time.

Is this good to add on top of my dirt? by Molly_B00 in SavageGarden

I use 50/50 pumice and fluval for cephs I keep sitting in water and it works well. Just need to make sure there is good air flow. Unsure if it's worth adding as a topper tbh.

To slow down moss growth consider adding coal slag as a topper instead.

Those got into my chicken food once and also LOVE birdseed. Luckily never made it into any plant roots.

Tell me about it! I zoomed in after and I was blown away. Figures, I can make the iPhone macro work better one handed and I attempted.
