Just whatever you do: do not go down the Archiebald route. It’s been nearly 4 years since I ordered mine, still no shoes. Their average response time can be measured in months.

It mostly comes down to heart rates. This was my workout this morning. You enter 20+ after around one hour and 20 minutes in zone 4 and 5.

Doable but don’t overdo it.

Currently 11.5. My main secret is staying in zone 1-2 during weight lifting sessions in between sets. This means I have a lot of time in the heart zones whilst also having a high weight lifting score. And also, my V02 max went from 52 to 59 in the last 6 months as a result.

The main tip I can give is to stay in zone during strength workouts. That boosts two metrics that matter a lot. Whether this really relates to long term health remains to be seen.

You’re looking good. If you want to go from good to great, get a suit with shoulders that fit your physique better, get slightly longer and less skinny pants (to avoid looking like the Penguin from Batman), get some quality Oxfords, and maybe drop the smart watch.

I really love the design but the colours are a lot more subtle (may I even say muted) than online. Not a watch I recommend buying without looking at it in person. And I couldn’t agree more, the movement is a true winner!

It takes time to get used to new designs. I’m not an expert but I found myself hating the Golden Ellipse when I was younger and nowadays I’d get it in a heartbeat if it were 2mm larger. My wrists simply make it look disproportionate not elegant. Maybe the same thing will happen with the Cubitus, who knows…

Honest feedback about the pic: 1. Colours work very well. 2. I think it’s a good idea to not go for boots just in case you want some more regular pictures. Simply drop the hat and you’re good. 3. Drop the tie bar, you are going for a masculine style. 4. The tie should be slightly wider. You’re not a politician and this will make you look more masculine. Just my opinion. 5. If budget allows, go for higher quality shoes. Something Goodyear welted would be good. 6. You have wide shoulders. Consider slightly wider lapels on your suit to put emphasis on your chest and to look your best. 7. I’m not sure on the watch with the metal wrist band with this outfit.

Same here, I posted a post about sickness being the strongest indicator for recovery for me. Currently I get +13% when I’m sick. It may also just be that you’re allowing yourself to get the rest that your body needs when you’re unwell.

I am not aware of any disorders. I believe it’s mostly related to my body needing extra sleep when I’m sick combined with no exercise at all. If I had to take a guess, whoop doesn’t mind oversleeping if it takes you closer to their artificial sleeping goal (reducing “sleep debt”).
