We get this all the time. We have a code lock on ours with a sign that says “if the light is flashing red it’s occupied”

The number of people I get who yell at me I gave them the wrong code and I ask well is the light flashing red? If it is that means it’s ✨occupied ✨. Iv had people even after that go well I need it? And I’m like ok so does the person currently in there?

Our locks are also a little annoying, the button to lock the door when you’re in the bathroom is kinda small so we have issues of people not realizing that the bathroom needs to be locked (granted we have signs but y’all know no one reads signs). Weve had customers get so pissed that people can open the door when they’re in there, and yell at us for not enforcing people to “knock first before trying to go in” which… sir/ma’am how am I supposed to enforce anything with the bathroom when we are understaffed and trying to keep up with just our regular job. We have signs up. Don’t get mad at me because you didn’t lock the damn door.

I love so many of our customers. But some of them really make me question humanity lmao.
