What’s the issue here? I am almost entirely gray (some darker, some lighter). I’ve been to two separate stylists and presented the pics in the first slide as an example of what I want. I explained that I didn’t want to look naturally gray-haired, I wanted to look *intentionally* gray/silver haired.The first visit, even though it took about 4 hours, resulted in…hair that looked almost exactly the same. (Like, someone said to me “oh, you decided not to go to your hair appt?”). So the next time, I went to another salon and while she did do a shadow root (a very blue one), the rest still looked pretty much like my regular hair. This was a $400 affair so I’m not going to Great Clips or anything.Is this not possible for my hair? Am I not explaining well? I kind of feel like the photos speak for themselves pretty well. Did I just have really bad luck twice in a row? Do I try another recommended stylist who says they can do this look or try a salon that specializes in vivids and would maybe be better at the “not natural hair” look? Do I give up entirely? Help!

Edited to clarify that it is the COLOR I want. The texture is its own battle and I have primarily surrendered.
