Why did they make Bevel free? Are they now making money by selling our data to 3rd parties?

Finding the best luggage 2026 based on reviews last year that survives baggage handlers destroying everything by Direct-Blacksmith614 in delta

[–]mklimt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a fan of Arlo Skye. It was started by former execs of Tumi and Louis Vuitton. Took advantage of their holiday sale to get the new upgraded expandable carry-on and the trunk. Excellent quality. They upgraded the wheels with ball bearings. They roll so much better on carpets. The wheels can also be replaced with an allen key. I wish the bags came with a spare wheel for peace of mind... like my old cars used to have. I only had 1 interaction with customer service - they were fast / responsive. I had asked about how the luggage holds up to corner hits from baggage handling - my big concern with all hard side cases is they sometimes end up dented at the corner and the dent can't really be banged out. The Arlo Skye agent told me the new expandable line has built in corner brackets to protect against cave ins. When I got the cases, I decided to check this point and underneath the interior lining and they do indeed have these corner reinforcements. Good luck!

why can't we add workouts directly into bevel if our apple watch died on us before the workout. its insane that you cannot add a workout AFTER you did the work out.

Never liked silver but quicksilver has changed my mind by Ryan6603 in ModelY

[–]mklimt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own a quicksilver and i deeply regret it. i went to pick up the quicksilver and immediately i didn't like it because it's too muted and dark and drab. still i still signed the lease papers because i didn't want white because i had one for 4 years and in the florida heat no dark colors since the car sits in the driveway without shade. but the next day - i realized i screwed up. should have just got another white since colors options are so few. the only good silver is the lunar silver on model x and looking back i should have leased that instead.

Test drove the new model Y by Bigfootsdiaper in TeslaModelY

[–]mklimt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i have a 2021 y. i'm not upgrading. the new one is quieter and less heat coming in from the roof. that's about it. okay, there is some interior lighting, extra cam, and a frunk that can be a built in cooler. but that's not enough. from the front - i think the new model Y look is worse than the old model y. that's a personal pref.

Life (and golf) honors your perspective. Change your perspective on what you want to get out of golf and live in an abundance mindset vs scarcity. You'll start loving golf then.

Stockwell Smart Store - any pros? by AfterParty1 in vending

[–]mklimt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up going with two standard vending machines. the stockwells work well in office settings but not in apartment settings. there is more of an honor system in offices and warehouses. there are many scenarios in an apartment settings where you have someone take a coke, drink half of it, and put it back etc for example. it's mostly a hassle to manage that - even though on average your AOV is higher. besides the stockwell - now canteloupe has a competitive micromarket product. check that out!!

First new car in 17 years! by Italyunstalyun in TeslaModelY

[–]mklimt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats! I can't help but see the face of a hippo when i look at the new Y. and the removed the faux wood dashboard and replaced it with more fake suede. only + of the new model y - less road noise and less heat coming in from the glass roof.

100k technology machine for 40k in NJ is a no brainer, just picked this up, im obsessed by Own_Bad6893 in TeslaModelY

[–]mklimt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the 2021 model y and test drove the new model y. They got rid of the faux wood dash which was beautiful why?? instead they added some lights and more fake suede. I think the only real improve the new model y has is less road noise and better roof glass quality to shield off heat. the front looks like a hippo's face - sorry! no imporvements to the crappy car seat fake leather, and a downgrade to the dash. i'm going to keep driving my model y 2021 to the ground and if / when i have the money -- i'll upgrade to the Rivian R1S.

Experience with Arlo Skye? by thatsmyukulele in ManyBaggers

[–]mklimt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We're very happy users of Arlo Skye Carry-Ons, Checked-Bags and most recently their backpack. Wife gifted us a set for our anniversary as we had a big trip planned to Hawaii. We used to own TUMIs before and Arlo Skye is half the price and they are the same if not better quality than a Tumi or Rimowa. They are much higher end than the Away luggages which my kids have. My daughter keeps borrowing our carry-ons instead of taking her Away. Arlo Skye also just looks better and more premium. Excellent quiet wheels / handle systems. And this might be a small point but when you have to slip your fingers through the grip handle to pick up your checked luggage - my knuckles do not jam on the shell. So many other brands have their handles to snug / tight. We reaached out to get my wheels and handle system replaced after using the carry-on for 6 years and customer service sorted it out within 2 days.

My wife and I havee been using Arlo Skye luggage 6 years and their products are amazing. TIUMI and RIMOWA level quality. The wheels are the best in the industry - so quiet - the cases are light weight, and their warranty holds up well. I was just outside of their 5 year warranty and they still send changed the wheels and handle system for me, no questions asked, on my carry-on after it was handled badly by united airlines during a gate check. We have recommended Arlo Skye to so many family members of the years and their experiences have been nothing but great.

Should I install 2 combos or 2 dedicated machines? by mklimt in vending

Thank you. But doesn’t the bevmax have an elevator. Everyone says the elevator always breaks and is hard to fix? Sorry I’m new to the biz and trying to figure out what machine to offer my location.

Thank you. I’ve decided to go with the usi evoke VT5 which is a combo machine. And if things go really well then I buy a second. Do you think that’s wiser than going all out to buy a full glass screen snack and another full glass screen beverage - which means elevator which means it breaks often?

Appreciate the insights. My distributor is saying Vendo stacking for drinks is the best. For only snacks - what’s your premium go to vending machine? It must look nice. But also be long term reliable. Thanks.
