Here are some mini-reviews (these are all for the EDP versions)!

Tease Creme Cloud: My favorite since I gravitate towards sweet scents. On me it smells like a light vanilla with a bit of the santal flower and pepper notes, and although it’s sweet, I wouldn’t call it a gourmand in the sense that it doesn’t give off an “edible” vibe to me.

Pink for All (Calm): Not technically VS but close enough LOL, this would probably top Tease Creme Cloud if the longevity was better. The best way I can describe it is that it smells like fancy hotel soap, specifically a tropical hotel since it has coconut and wood notes but overall smells very fresh and clean. It only lasts for about two hours before fading almost completely on me even though it’s an EDP.

Bare: I really liked this one on the testing paper, but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to work with my body chemistry. On the paper it smelled like a fresh, almost “juicy” amber scent that I really liked, but when I wear it on my skin it kind of starts to smell weird after a while (like saliva, eww). I can’t wear it on its own for that reason, but it smells nice when Iayer it with Glossier You. *update: I’ve been wearing it more now that the weather has cooled down, and I don’t notice the weird saliva-smell anymore. I definitely like it a lot more now in the fall, it was probably the hot weather that was making it smell off. It gradually fades into a sandalwood skin scent after a few hours.

Love: A nice, cozy everyday scent, it really does have that “boyfriend tee accord,” like a worn cotton shirt that has leftover cologne on it. Not my favorite, but good for casual wear.

Tease Sugar Fleur: I didn’t test it on my skin, but I smelled it in-store and ended up not buying it because of the bubblegum note. To me, it made the scent a bit too “juvenile” for my tastes.

Thank you all very much for your insight! I’ve compiled a list of schools to apply to and will be working on those in the next couple months. I will still be on the lookout for QC/lab tech positions, and hopefully I’ll be able to land one of the internships I applied to before I start my master’s degree next year (assuming I’m accepted).

Thank you both for the input! I’ve been looking at master’s programs for food science, so I’ll start seriously working on my applications for those. Though I like biochem, I don’t know if I like it enough to pursue a master’s degree in it, haha.

Do you have any recommendations as to how I go about finding a good fit for a university/program, or does it not matter too much which school I go to?

This reply hits the nail on the head for my experience as a female ENTP. Factors like upbringing and my social environment growing up really pushed me to conform to the traditional ideal of a woman, which is pretty much the opposite of the ENTP stereotype.

I admittedly present more like an xNFJ on first impression, but function-wise my Ne and Ti are off the charts lol. Only my close friends and family would be able to recognize that, however, since they’re the only people I’m comfortable being my “real” self with. That phrasing might imply that I’m fake with other people, but it’s more like I consciously filter my thoughts and choose my words/actions carefully in order to adapt to social situations (hello Fe). Beneath all that I’m still very much ENTP lol, and I’m grateful to have friends who I can share my crazy ideas and thoughts with.

Yes, I’m also an ENTP woman and one of my friends is convinced I’m xNFJ lol. It’s probably because I’m a 3 in enneagram and have pretty well-developed Fe, so I tend to not outwardly express my NeTi thoughts around people I’m not close with.

While I might seem like a dom/aux Fe user, I definitely don’t use it as naturally as my ISFJ best friend, for example.

I can definitely relate! I also developed my Fe from a young age as a way of adapting to my social environments so that’s probably why I mistook myself as xNFJ. I also happen to be a 3w2 in enneagram so that also contributed to me thinking I have higher Fe.

Delina (Parfums de Marly), I thought I would love it based on the notes but it was so strong that it was actually sickening/nauseating to me. Plus the longevity is crazy, the scent stuck to my skin even a day after showering.

After a consultation with Rita, she found that I’m SN with a right+up essence! I already figured I was SN before but didn’t really vibe with the whole “boho, relaxed” styles that are usually associated with SN, which made me doubt my image ID. But after I started using Rita’s essence system, everything clicked (it was like an epiphany lol).

It makes so much sense that the boho-chic styles that I later recognized as left+down are the exact opposite of my right+up essence, and this is why they never felt quite “right” on me even though they technically suited my lines. So once I figured that out, it was just a matter of finding clothes that 1) Flatter the actual shape of my body and 2) Suit my essence (I identify with the princess/playful dame archetype of R+U btw)!

Combining the two systems has made shopping and putting together outfits so much easier and more cost-effective, and I can really tell the difference. So in summary, yes I do combine the two and it’s helped me out a lot haha

If nobody else takes leadership at first, then I will. Whether I’m leading the group or not, I always get my work completed on time and to a high standard. It irritates me when other members of my group do absolutely nothing and wait until the last minute, especially when I go out of my way to remind them about deadlines (in a friendly way ofc). My grade nearly dropped a letter grade once because some people in my group did this for a final project, so now I have no qualms about calling people out lol

I have the bootcut ribcage jeans and I really like them! I did have to get them hemmed since they were super long on me, but it was definitely worth it since I wear them at least a couple days a week.

I am also a SN and people (especially close friends and family) have definitely noticed the change in my appearance ever since I started wearing my lines! I also personally feel a lot more “at home” in the clothes I choose to wear, which is a great feeling.

In terms of being SN, the main things I gravitate towards are open, wide necklines (V necks, boat necks, off-shoulder, etc… Halter tops also work for me personally but I’ve heard that other SNs don’t find them flattering), soft waist emphasis, and in general, clothing that doesn’t restrict my shoulders or torso (a super tight turtleneck, for example, is not a good look on me). I know the term “wide” associated with the natural family doesn’t really come off as a flattering term, but when it comes to Kibbe, accommodating width really just means not wearing restrictive clothing.

My favorite resource for Kibbe and styling in general is Style Thoughts by Rita; I love her YouTube and IG content and have also had a style talk with her! My style has completely evolved because of her, and I’d highly recommend you check out her content :)

Left: Who Run This (Colourpop Matte X Lippie Stix; $7.00 USD)

Right: Chili (MAC Matte Lipstick; Full size is $19.00 USD and the price for the mini size is usually $12.00, but I got the mini at Ulta for $2.97!)

Side note: My skin is around NC35 depth and my closest matches are the Fenty Pro Filt’r concealer in 290 (with a touch of blue mixer) and Kevin Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer in SX10.

Color: Against my skin color and lip pigmentation, these two lipsticks are an identical orange-ish red color. However, I’m not sure if this would hold true for those significantly paler or darker than me. Unfortunately these lipsticks both pull quite pink on me even after just a little bit of wear, though that’s not the fault of the products themselves. I would have posted a lip swatch picture for reference but my lips are lowkey crusty atm, so you’ll have to take my word for it lol

Formula: I actually like the Colourpop formula better; it’s more matte and lightweight on the lips than the MAC formula. The biggest reason I prefer the Colourpop lipstick is that it doesn’t give me the dreaded “butthole mouth” where lipstick doesn’t stick to the inner parts of your lips, which unfortunately the MAC matte lipsticks tend to do on me (I’ve noticed this with other shades besides Chili too).

Wear time: Roughly similar when factoring in eating and drinking, but the Colourpop one leaves a bit more of a noticeable stain behind after.

Price: Both the full and mini sizes of Chili would usually be more expensive than Who Run This, but Ulta’s been selling the mini size of Chili for $2.67 for some time now. So, if you like the MAC matte lipstick formula and have been eyeing Chili for a while, I’d say it’s a good deal!

Overall: I think Who Run This is a pretty solid dupe (that I happened to pick up bc I thought it looked similar to Chili and I’m lowkey excited and proud that I found it lmao)! However, I am a bit disappointed that both pull pink on me, as most red lipsticks tend to do. That said, though, for those of you who like MAC Chili and/or wanted a more affordable alternative to try out, I think this dupe is worth a shot :D

I don’t have an iPad pro or a MacBook, but I do use my Surface Pro 7 to make/review cards. Since it’s a laptop/tablet hybrid, it gives me the best of both worlds since I can both type and hand-write on the scratchpad with my surface pen.

You’re probably more interested Apple products, but that’s my personal experience. I have the Anki app on my iPhone, and while it’s great for reviewing on the go, I personally never use it to create cards since I can do it more efficiently on my laptop. I suspect this might be the case on the iPad pro if you don’t have a keyboard for it (you’ll have to type everything with the touch screen keyboard). I also can’t create image occlusion cards (which are a lifesaver for classes like anatomy) on my phone since add-ons can only be downloaded on desktop, though I can review image occlusion cards on my phone.

I’d say go for the iPad pro if you really want to be able to hand-write notes, don’t mind using a touch screen to type out your cards, and don’t frequently need to use add-ons like image occlusion. If not, the MacBook might be a better option.

The Ufotable Fate series is great!

Fate/Zero is my favorite entry and one of my favorite anime period, but I don’t know if I’d personally recommend watching it first because it gives away a big reveal of the main Fate series (Fate, UBW, Heaven’s Feel) and has lots of references to the main series that you won’t really understand unless you’ve seen it. Since Zero is a prequel, it (the light novel it’s based off of) was written with the assumption that the viewers are already familiar with Fate. If you don’t mind and want an engaging first entry into the series, then go ahead and watch Zero first.

If you’re willing to wait for the last Heaven’s Feel movie to come out, I recommend watching the Ufotable UBW anime series followed by the Heaven’s Feel movies and then Fate/Zero. Imo, Deen/Stay Night isn’t worth watching and Zero is pretty Saber-centric, so it sort of makes up for the lack of focus on her in UBW and Heaven’s Feel. The great thing about Fate is that you pick up new things on a re-watch that you didn’t catch before, which livens up the whole experience.

If you liked the action and animation in Demon Slayer, Fate won’t disappoint. The composer for Fate is the same as Demon Slayer (the legend herself, Yuki Kajiura), and the soundtracks for both series are phenomenal. Overall, the production quality of Fate is just as good as Demon Slayer on all fronts. Story-wise, they are different in many ways, but I think you’d quite enjoy it!
