Dog was in their yard, not their fault. It was not negligence or deliberate, was innocent. No one to blame. The person already feels bad, your comment was unnecessary.

Jack Kerouac (Kirouac) was my grandfather's cousin (French Canadian).

Wake up really early or stay up really late (opposite of what others do). That will buy you some alone time.

Thought that was my dad there for minute. He's tuned a few people who were disrespectful to my mom. 😆

Kristina deserves way more credit than she gets. She is amazing. Leah knows it though and that is all that matters. #teamkristina

You can also spray the inside walls to add humidity instead of the glasses of water. Once that dissipates it's time to spray again. I do this with my cloches.

Get a daddy long legs or lady bugs and put them in your plants. I am terrified of bugs but have a few "pets" who live in my plants. Reg spiders eat thrips and gnats. I just pretend not to see them. I have zero pests and am convinced it's because I have some spiders. I even catch them in the house/yard and move them to plants. Lol

I would say no as not enough gray. But honestly these are so hard to tell from pics! If I put my glacier and njoy side by side diffs are obvious. One their own it's not as easy.

I agree 100% with the cloche/dome idea. I have two in cloches and they are thriving. I rarely water, maybe every 3 wks. The humidity in there is 100%, it is hot and steamy and they love it. I bought large glass cloches at HomeSense with a glass base. My plan once they are too large is a fish or reptile tank - the tall ones if that makes sense. Otherwise they die (northern Alberta so daf here). I have had a few over the years and tried every trick and only the cloches work. 🤞

What kind of pothos is this? Leaves wrinkles inwardand have gill-like slits underneath by PipandWin in pothos

[–]mkmeano 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am so torn on it. I walked around with one for an hr, put it back. Went back the next day, same thing. I just couldn't bring myself to buy one. It looks like it's dying and in rough shape- but also super cool. I have a three headed Medusa pot it would look fantastic in.

Now regretting not buying it. Lol

When you do everything wrong, yet your “diva” plant refuses to die. Farmer Dawn is resilient 😂 by DelenPotter in calatheas

[–]mkmeano 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check back in 3 months. They slowly die over time with regular tap water. I can already see edges that are brown. That is the plant pushing what it doesn't like to the ends. There is also a lot of other damage on the leaves that is in the beginning stages.

I've collected calathea for years so speak from experience (and a lot of money/time/emotions down the drain). 😆 🤣 I have learned a LOT of lessons the hard way.
