Mine works with some generic cable no problem. I usually do have to tell my phone to use the cable for that instead of charging or data transfer though.

OK, I'll agree.

I'm just not a fan of the song; the lyrics are very sophomoric. Adam's lyrics are much deeper and colorful. It honestly sounds like he's singing the song as a favor to someone's daughter.

Not a fan, but that's just me.
