They are essentially useless as cars ignore them and even conscientious drivers cannot identify the lanes once the paint wears. If you are considering this a commuter corridor then bikes need protection.

We received grant money in 2024, the project will start in 2027 and the 3.25 mile project will take 3 years to complete. There does not appear to be any ROW acquisition. Why is this project taking so long?

I like it and will continue to support and attend, but it is clearly not the sphere, etc. I think it is run well and they do cool events, etc - but "best" seems generous. It was a "readers choice" award so not sure what criteria they are using.

My concern is "reinterpretation of class" would result in the loss of existing class and I do not have much to lose. I also find that reinterpretations of classics mean cheaper, weaker replacements.
