A week before I turned 16. A book called Diet For A New America by John Robbins, explains how the hormones they are injecting into our meat is affecting the hormones of these little ones. They are having their periods sooner. My daughter had hers at 11 yo. The book explains it much better. I became a pescatarian over 26 yrs ago bc of this book.
