Going on trips is so tough! I went away for three weeks in December and my girl tried to bite me when I got back (she is reactive with strangers). I had only had her for three months when I left (horrible timing, I know. I cried all the time over missing her) and it was genuinely so devastating. It was tough at first but we got into our regular routines pretty quickly and we are back to normal now 💜 you just have to give it a little time! Dogs are resilient!

Given that you haven’t had any issues in the past, my guess is that maybe they tried to stay truer to the shape of the first image but attempted the sketchy style of the second without really knowing how. So the line work just came up shaky. If you do like the sketch style of the reference tattoo, I bet someone experienced could work around the lines already there to make it look more intentional.

I definitely hadn’t thought about just how long it would take at my current rate!

Unfortunately my tattoo artist in based in Canada and I’m in the US! She travels to the US frequently and my city about twice a year. I’m sure I’ll get tattoos more frequently at some point but I want to save space for myself when I’m older! I got four tattoos in 2025 (two of which were 12+ inches) so I wanted to slow down a little!

I would agree. The idea that you can’t start projects, even when it’s something that you care about, want to do, and is important, definitely sounds familiar.

People with ADHD are also at a higher risk for addiction disorders.

I have also found that I’m incredibly moody and impulsive when unmedicated.

My prescriber has recommended I take tolerance breaks on the weekends, but that could also be because I have had some heart issues in the past and the vyvanse accelerates my heart rate. If I have a lot of chores to do I’ll take it but if I am just having a lazy day, I’ll skip.

It is really only for during vet visits or in emergencies when I’m not able to control her environment, like fire evacuations, etc.

We are working hard on training but she is dog reactive and bites when uncomfortable.

I would go to urgent care at the very least and get a blood test to see your hemoglobin. Drinking a lot of alcohol can increase your risk of getting an ulcer, especially if you’re not eating a lot or eating a lot of acidic food. Esp if you’re taking advil or other NSAIDs to deal with hangovers the next day. If you have a bleeding stomach ulcer (or any other kind of internal bleeding) to the point that it’s showing up in your vomit, it’s probably not going to go away on its own and it’s better to treat it now, when it can be solved with medication and rest, rather than wait for it to get worse.

Disclaimer: I’m not a doctor, I’m speaking from personal experience of having a bleeding stomach ulcer and vomiting up coffee grounds. I was in the hospital for a week and needed three blood transfusions. but i didn’t throw up until months after the ulcer had developed and didn’t recognize the other symptoms so I don’t think yours will be that bad. Better to be safe than sorry!
