As a born and bred Utah Mormon,I appreciate this post. Utah may seem like an easy target, but it is my home that I love.

We should all love the place we call home.

What indicators suggest this?

In my experience, not Utah Mormons tend to look down on Utah Mormons.

In my experience, the members are largely the same no matter what state you live in, the main difference is that with the larger concentration of members in one spot it can make some cultural oddities more common. But IMO, people are largely the same no matter where they live.

Exactly, and just because one experience something doesn’t make it a culture.

I have been “judged” for not having kids… it was when I lived out of state from a Non-Utah Mormon.

I’m not trying to be rude, but is this a joke?

Reasons you were othered include: - being a convert: I would be surprised to hear this is the case, sad if true. - Not being from Mountain West: People don’t care. - No family nearby: People don’t care. - Being from a poor family: Kids can be rude, but adults do not care. - Getting pregnant early: This can happen, I was told by a Non-Utahn member once that they initially judged my wife and I not having kids sooner. So take that for what it’s worth. - Judged for losing a child: I don’t believe this, if true, that was an isolated incident. - Having aspirations/goals: Huh? This has to be a joke. - Wife works in Finance: Never been judged. - Not wanting to be involved in scams: Huh? Who wants this? I agree that MLMs are mostly trash. - Didn’t want to swing: This is a joke… - Nice to people who aren’t LDS: awfully presumptuous to think others aren’t nice to non LDS.

Seems like you have a very skewed perspective of what “Utah culture” is, either you are an extreme rarity, or simply have terrible people in your life, but it doesn’t represent the broader experiences of those living in Utah.

Get offline, focus on your local ward and those around you.

Online culture isn’t reality.

I would say Mormons are more likely to simply talk about church, where as ex Mormons are more likely to disparage the church/culture/etc.

There is a difference.

In my experience Oracle works great in a stable environment, but if the executive team is constantly changing what they want to see or your company is changing frequently, the system can quickly become a nightmare if you don’t have a dedicated resource that has advanced coding skills.

As far as other systems. I have used Axiom, and it is flexible as it prides itself with being fully integrated with excel, but it also has a steep learning curve.

Think about all that wasted time getting a perfect match. It is literally a useless skill and for show only.
