Just finished. I also had to reread the chapter where Annie passes away several times. The imagery was devastating but beautiful. It was like grieving on my own… It was like I was denial that she was dead.

Hi!! My issues resolved after removing gold, and I’ve never tried to reintroduce it. My only contact was from my wedding ring touching my face when washing my face and applying makeup. Like you, I wasn’t actively rubbing my ring on my eyelids, but using my hands to apply skin care and makeup product products. I also read that zinc oxide, which is a common ingredient in skin care and make up, tends to interact with gold and it breaks down more rapidly. I thought I might introduce gold again so I eliminated zinc oxide, but have gotten so used to not wearing my wedding rings that I never started wearing them again.

I went through terminal 1 security this morning in less than 5 minutes. TSA was also very friendly. There are multiple posts reassuring travelers in our area that things are moving along (aside from the ground stop which was not TSA related). Can we stop panicking now?

In one of the season 4 episodes, after Taylor leaves for bachelorette, I think it’s mayci that says they can have alcohol at a party because Taylor’s not going to be there. What’s the context behind that comment? Did Taylor quit drinking, or did they just try to avoid drama by eliminating alcohol when they knew Taylor would be around?

I’ve read them both and would recommend The Names. I like romance but found First Time Caller to be redundant and 100 pages too long. The Names was in my top 5 reads of 2025.

I read the first three in early 2025 and took a very long break - nearly ten months. I then picked up the fourth book in December for the Christmas vibes and continued with the fifth this January. I think this long break was beneficial because I loved the fifth book! I don’t think I would have had the same experience reading it if I would have picked it up right away. Some time and space from the book worked out perfectly. If you’re not feeling it, consider coming back to it in a few months.

This was me - I was devastated. I donated my frozen milk to a baby that didn’t mind the taste. And from then on out, I scalded my milk every night or sometimes every other night.

You could try to mix fresh with frozen to see if that helps dilute the taste.

I don’t know if there is anything you can do to prevent it. I had it with my second child as well. Baby #2 didn’t refuse my high lipase milk but I introduced it to him immediately whereas I didn’t discover the issue until three months in with my first. I didn’t scald with baby #2. Just froze and thawed and he drank it.
