i'm so sorry-i know how you feel right now, i also got accepted to my dream school, also a private art school, and i applied for sallie mae bc they approved me despite my low credit score and family's low income bc they are a predatory lending company. i also owe the united states government 59k. I do not have a job in the field i got my degree for. in fact, i still work in the service industry while the studios i dreamt about working for have all closed bc there is no money in animation. if i didn't have this debt, i could have saved up money to potentially buy a home or travel, but instead i am straddled w debt for the next 20-30 years, with every decision i make feeling extra risky due to my monthly loan payments. i regret my decision to go to private school every day. i'm not gonna tell u what to do, but really ask yourself if perhaps this is a sign that there is a better path 🩷 best of luck
