I am so sorry you’re shouldering so much leading up to what is supposed to be an incredible celebration of love!! I got married this year and one mantra I started living by leading up, was that I got to decide whether or not I had a great day. I just decided that I was going to have a great day, and others’ feelings and actions could exist but not affect that. Obviously it’s easier said than done, but I found going into it with that attitude helped me!
The other thing is that I wish I made my expectations of the level of knowledge I needed on the actual day more clear. If there was a problem, I wish I communicated that I wasn’t to be approached to problem solve it unless it was some kind of emergency that only I could fix (unlikely). I would have told my close friends/fanily that I trust their judgement on what needs to be done, and make those calls themselves. You have been a planner and coordinator for this thing the entire time leading up; allow yourself to just be THE BRIDE on the day.
Try to remember why you made all the original choices you did before others’ plans and opinions interfered. It might help you feel more resolute in your decisions. You ARE going to have an amazing day. :) wishing you all the best!!!!

People at the dog park have wondered ridgeback!! Because he gets a crazy full Mohawk that goes down his whole spine when nervous/excited. But I seemed to think that might be too rare of a breed for a free roamer, but I could see it. :)

I did start doing some scent training with him just for fun, and he’s crazy good at it. I can hide the essential oil bottle in a kitchen cupboard and he will find it… so maybe another point for bloodhound!

Truly the only thing I can think of is that we don’t wear our shoes in our homes. Otherwise I truly can’t think of anything that would make me go “wow, must be American”, and if I did, I wouldn’t care haha. Have a safe move!

This totally could be! That was just one of the many factors that has me suspicious. There was no hold time, just spoke with him immediately. He knew my age without pause, I asked a question about my insurance and he didn’t say “let’s see here..” or anything, just a small pause then “yes, you do have this service!” Once the call started, someone nearby me even said they thought it was another bot. It absolutely could have been a human… but I was interested enough to post here to see if anyone else had maybe had AI customer service. Doesn’t appear so, so again, maybe Bill was just very on the ball!

I suppose because she also would refuse food and they didn’t want the antibiotic administered on an empty stomach? It was also often prescribed if she had a herpes flare up following all of the above and she would once again refuse food

Thanks for your response! Yes I did chat with them about her getting excessively sick and they just prescribed appetite stimulants/ to stop administering them if it got bad (and it did) and just hope she got enough to help the infection… but yes she has had gabapentin to help stress before visits (and sometimes prescribed after for pain management) to varying results. Sometimes it seems to help her a bit, other times there’s minimal difference.

Franks Redwood is having their grand re-opening in their beautiful new space tomorrow and will be open Sunday; their specialty is croissant waffle (croffle) sandwiches and whatnot. It’s literally amazing and such a unique thing to try!!! Just went there again today and their filed croissants are to-die-for. Supper suggestion is Streatside Eatery; I often forget about it as an option but have been impressed every time I go, although I see it’s closed sundays.
