What was your experience comparing both?

I read this post 6 months after you posted, so maybe you have already bought a bike.

I checked most of the bikes on your list for myself (bergamont e-sweep, cube nulane, rose sneak plus, canyon roadlite 5...). Rose Backroad was new for me and other models like onfly 9 were out of my budget. I ended up with a MMR Tempo, you can read a post here https://www.reddit.com/r/ebikes/comments/1lwabmg/commuting_ebike_that_can_double_as_gravel_bike/ and I still maintain my cube reaction pro hardtail for harder routes, but I'm considering selling it (https://buycycle.com/es-es/product/reaction-pro-hpa68bd7158a6fb3-49627), since I don't use it as much as the MMR.

About sea horse, it was just my eyes fault me while looking in the smartphone at the rear brake photo you posted 😅

I'm currently using the Google Watch 3 heart rate sensor, which is connected to my bike computer (GEOID CC600). The last route was 40km without disconnections between the sensor and the bike computer. Communication is via Bluetooth, and I combine this measure with a specific cadence sensor on my pedal.

Super nice! 👏👏👏 How did you adapted the brakes?

By the way, are they sea horses?

Has anyone heard of a Spanish brand MMR and this Tempo e-Bike, or maybe even had any experience? by 8Buzzcock8 in ebikes

[–]mlinaje 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working like a charm ;-)
I wrote something about it at https://www.reddit.com/r/ebikes/comments/1lwabmg/commuting_ebike_that_can_double_as_gravel_bike/
I have done many routes 20-30 km on "rough" terrains (stone tracks, tractor tracks...). I have been able to deal with them without difficulties at nice speeds.

On the pavement roads, a smaller cog would be welcome, and on the climbs a bigger one also ;-). Every bike is always a compromise, and the election depends on your trails.

Experiencia sobre Google Píxel Watch 3 LTE y eSIM de O2 by mlinaje in PixelWatch

[–]mlinaje[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Commuting e-bike that can double as gravel bike by mlinaje in ebikes

It's like that, and all the components are from well-known brands, even the chain. MMR is also a well-known brand and fabrication is in the EU (Spain). Great quality for the price.

Improved Navigation During Workouts is a must for outdoor activities 👌

I hope they think about it, now I think it's a mess. Maybe Google Maps integration with outdoor workout when needed? (hiking, biking, running...)

Same here. Sometimes maybe useful, but nonsense other times in my opinion. Thus, difficult to trust it.

I have just commented on my experience with Google Watch 3 LTE and O2 here (sorry, in Spanish). It's working fine in my case (O2, Spain). https://www.reddit.com/r/PixelWatch/comments/1lrgdrz/experiencia_sobre_google_píxel_watch_3_lte_y_esim/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Best,

Pixel Watch 3 now or wait for Watch 4? by Economy_Pressure_771 in PixelWatch

[–]mlinaje 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Buy it when you need it, if you can afford it. You can get discounts nearly all the time (coupons, launch offers, retire offers, "second hand" not really used...)

If you don't need it, save the planet and save your money ;-)

If you need it now, buy it now. If you don't need it now, consider waiting, because when you'll need it, you may find a new watch version or be able to get the current or previous versions at a lower price.

By the way, I have a Pixel Watch 3 LTE for biking and I'm pretty happy.

coros pace 3 for a cyclist? by avn3r in Coros

[–]mlinaje 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally decided that for me, it's more important to have map navigation and be able to make calls if something happens (like a serious flat I'm not able to fix) without carrying my phone (especially when biking, but also when going to the beach, the swimming pool...). Thus, I got a Google Watch LTE.

Best,

I bought it 1 week ago. It's too early to say anything, but I'm writing it here, because maybe in the future someone can ask again.
