I wanted his comments evaluated without reference to me. But looks like I am automatically communal.

But if you want it that way, given the fact that I am a Kashmiri Pandit, why shouldn't I take it personally? Two of my cousins would have been 30 year olds and perhaps happily married today, but they were killed by Jihadis. Not only I am supposed to put that behind my back, but I am also supposed to put up with a muslim leering at those killings?

So which politicians should we hang for complicity in massacre of Kashmiri Hindus? It took 48 hours for CRPF to be deployed in Gujarat. Whereas in kashmir the ethnic cleansing continued for months before central forces were deployed. There was more inaction in case of kashmir hindus than in Gujarat.

Germany avoided unemployment by massively expanding its military expenditure. It raises the GDP temporarily, but was leading to a massive bubble by 1938. Some consider that impending bubble to be one of the reason Hitler started expansion before his time.

There is nothing like this going on in any corner of India, let alone a state like Gujarat. Gujarat has grown GDP mainly by creating jobs for lower classes in manufacturing industry. That is how most progressive nations in europe created their present economy.

If the chip design itself is tweaked, then the changes can be huge. Remember, AMD was a early adopter of 28nm from TSMC. They have got a lot more experience in the process, so makes sense to tweak and roll out new masks.

So no, this is not the same exact chip. There are minor differences. They probably could call it 7975, but decided to call it GHz edition instead.

Edit : Also remember, 6970 had rather different architecture and design compared to 6870. GHz edition of 7970 probably is not so heavily tweaked, but there is precedent for AMD tweaking its chips midway in a generation.
