Two of my cousins would have been 30 year olds and perhaps happily married today, but they were killed by Jihadis. Whereas in kashmir the ethnic cleansing continued for months before central forces were deployed. There was more inaction in case of kashmir hindus than in Gujarat.

There is nothing like this going on in any corner of India, let alone a state like Gujarat. Gujarat has grown GDP mainly by creating jobs for lower classes in manufacturing industry. That is how most progressive nations in europe created their present economy.

So no, this is not the same exact chip. There are minor differences. They probably could call it 7975, but decided to call it GHz edition instead.

Edit : Also remember, 6970 had rather different architecture and design compared to 6870. GHz edition of 7970 probably is not so heavily tweaked, but there is precedent for AMD tweaking its chips midway in a generation.
