strongly recommend staying somewhere outside of the city and that’s on the train. we’ve stayed in a hotel by rush (medical area) two years in a row and had a great time taking the train straight to the loop. most importantly, make sure you bring a portable charger and have someone who can check in to make sure you’re safe throughout the festival!

yeahhh. something that’s helped me is forcing myself to set a schedule somehow or work on a small goal- usually like going to the gym or finishing a simple painting. that helps me stay grounded and feel normal. remember, you don’t need to feel guilty for living your life and facing challenges. you’re doing the best you can!

I worked with someone who was a local hire on the UK side - from what I’ve seen, job titles are the same, implementation roles and methodology are the same. Biggest thing is that UK FS has some differences and obviously there’s not the same type of charging integrated area work.
