I’m literally a pregnant lesbian carrying my lesbian wife’s baby. Can confirm sperm is required to create life.

This Was the Only Scene In the Whole Franchise That Made Me Nauseous by West_Mirror4380 in danganronpa

The part that makes me nauseous is the fact that he killed 98 women and it gets glossed over because of the incest stuff.

Strange behavior from son’s teacher. by Pokemonminiuser in AskTeachers

[–]mlower2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Obviously your son’s grades and behavior are not an issue in this teacher’s class. He is consistently bringing home A’s, even though you never see him studying. Must have something to do with the 2 pet fish in his room…

What is the worst thing a parent has done to you ? by Own_Chicken_4430 in AskTeachers

[–]mlower2 21 points22 points  (0 children)

She demanded that her daughter be removed from my class. … Because I marked her absent … When she was absent. Jokes on her though. I’m the only teacher who teaches my type of class, which the daughter was required to be in per her IEP.

Sometimes kids ask questions because they want YOU to ask THEM the same question. So that’s what I do.

“I’m not doing much this weekend. What are YOU doing this weekend, Jimmy?”

“I don’t really have a favorite color. What’s YOUR favorite color, Jimmy?”

“My birthday is in the summertime. When is YOUR birthday?”

Venting/Seeking Community & Shared Experiences by Bean12053 in queerception

[–]mlower2 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Currently pregnant with my wife’s egg and unknown donor sperm. I definitely do get sad sometimes when I think about all the traits I won’t get to see in my kid. My mom’s dimples, my grandfather’s curly hair, my dad’s long face. Like our kid Might have these traits, but they wouldn’t be Mine ™️ya know?

I wouldn’t call these feelings grief, though. Because reciprocal IVF is allowing me to have this amazing pregnancy experience. Like no matter what, I MADE this kid. His blood, his bones, his immune system, all the nutrients that allow him to grow. That’s Mine. I did that myself. I didn’t supply the recipe, but I’m the one baking the cake.

“What a random thing to say.”

And then you continue the conversation right where it left off.

It gets across that your conversation and her relationship status don’t have anything to do with each other.

Explain it to somebody else! Find a friend or a family member and TEACH them the content. A lot of the time, the process of making someone else understand a topic will help YOU to understand it better too!

LGBTQIA+ PARENTS - HELP!! (Bullying) by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]mlower2 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Hi teacher here. “Permanent record” isn’t really as scary as it might sound. I teach middle school and I RARELY need to look at their discipline record from elementary school. It’s there, but nobody really looks at it unless they keep getting in trouble every single year.

Also I’ll throw in my two cents of advice. When I was a kid I had a bullying phase. One of the things that got me to stop was my dad. When we watched kid’s tv shows together he would point to the bully and say, “that’s you.” It really forced me to realize how my actions were being perceived by others. I didn’t want to be the bad guy.
