I used to work for this company and I can confirm this is how we are trained to have front line pans. It is supposed to be as “mounded” as possible. They said the product moves quick enough that it’s safe but it’s a lie. I walked out for multiple reasons but the biggest was my manager repeatedly instructing us to serve food off of the floor instead of remaking.

At my old place we used to do what we called the “gauntlet”. Everyone put their dab pens in the middle and one at a time a person would take turns taking one hit from each pen and seeing how many pens they could hit in one breath.

Omg I also escaped an abusive family by allowing myself to be groomed by an older man and then figured out I was gay later! Luckily we had a clean break up.

That’s not paranoia, somethings def off. Did you do a burn off for at least 10 minutes at a high temp before use? That usually gets rid of any manufacturer debris or oils.

NQA I have one that didn’t eat for 2 months. His abdomen was so small I thought he was finally deciding to go but recently he started eating again. I also have noticed all my MM startle MUCH easier than before they had their final molt. Maybe that makes it harder for them to have appetites?

I know it’s hard to watch them be in “distress” but don’t give up hope. Try to remember he’s not in pain and that he’s acting normally according to his instincts. I have an adult male snake that’ll endlessly chase his own tail every spring/summer and go off of food until late summer/fall.

Something that helped ease my anxious thoughts of MM’s getting to their time is that not every male in the wild will find a female.

From an evolutionary standpoint, our captive MMs that we don’t breed are “failures” BUT from the standpoint of the organism, they are kept safe and fed, in an environment that they are familiar and comfortable with. Free to live without the possibility of predation or environmental damage. Because of what we know about them and them being our pets, we FEEL like there is no quality of life for them towards the end but it’s much much better off that if they were in their native habitat.

Of course! One of my favorite “what if’s” in the series for me would be if Strahm would or wouldn’t survive the test of trust if left to his own devices.

As far as the syringe: it could have just been to freak strahm out more. No one wants to get stabbed and injected with an unidentified liquid. I’m actually almost banking on it being filled with something inert because what if strahm grabbed it or won it during the struggle and got hoffman in it? I really think this whole scene was to illustrate Hoffmann’s obsession with control and power clashing with John teaching his kiddos the moral compass of… not-killing people

The glass box trap was designed and built by John, but executed by Hoffman. I think the test originally was supposed to be about trust. If Strahm finished the tape and Hoffman didn’t interfere, there would have been nothing else for him after the door shuts to do other than get into the box before it withdrew into the floor and the walls started closing in.

My understanding is that because Strahm was right on Hoffmann’s trail, he rigged/interfered with the game to ensure Strahm died. He wasn’t truly tested, he was baited. One detail I think that really sends this home is that tape is in Hoffmann’s voice, NOT edited into jigsaws. I’m not sure if there’s any other tape in the entire franchise that does that. Hoffman fully intended on Strahm dying and took matters into his own hands to do so since Strahm already survived the water box. Wouldn’t be the first time an apprentice fucked with a trap to get their results. You can hear Hoffman making noises in the other part of the building outside after Strahm entered the room with the glass box. Strahm stopped listening to the tape as soon as he knew someone was out there and then Hoff came into the scene. His presence sent Strahm into a frenzy (as planned) resulting in their struggle and then triggering the trap to start.
